By using our utilities developed in house, we can “link” your data to the new expanded data set which is now available to you. We match multiple data sets and produce a key which will link them together. This key can be used to merge data sets together or the data sets can remain separate and the key can be used simply for reporting in BI software, combined purchasing, combined promotions, basically any time you would like to treat the data sets as if they were the same.

Browser-based scraping utility

This utility was developed to easily save images, text, PDF documents and any image file from any folder or third party website to your own. It is faster and more reliable than existing methods of copying and saving internet images.

Previously if you wanted to copy an image from a website you would have to save the image to your computer. You would then crop and/or resize the image. The file would then need to be manually mapped and named to the product(s) in your database, and would later be added to your website as part of a regular database update. Our new Scraper utility uses a side extension on the screen to immediately duplicate any image file from any folder or website onto your own websites server. After the image has been duplicated it is then loaded in your internet browser, through a programming script specifically built by us.

Instead of trying to copy an original image file to your computer we have a “screenshot taker” built into your browser. On any webpage you click a button on the side bar extension and create your own .jpg image by highlighting the exact part of the screen that you wish to copy, and the image is then automatically uploaded to your server with a temporary filename using File Transfer Protocol (FTP). Once uploaded your internet browser redirects you to your image processing page.

Now you can assign the “scraped” image to one or multiple product categories or products themselves, to all products in one or more category Ids. So a single image can be added to all items added to a single cell (selection box) or a single image added to all items in a product category or to the actual category image itself, simply by copying and pasting the desired item / items or product category / categories into the selection box.
